Second Studio Session

On this second session we tried to use a different illumination mode: a backlight coming from both sides at the same intensity.  On this initial configuration we made several changes, such as adding one or two symmetric white panels in front of the model to smooth the shadows with a symmetric light coming from the front or to put a lower single white panel to illuminate the the model’s face from the bottom.

As I received several comments on my previous light position draft… just to clarify: no, it was not drawn by my 5-year-old cousin. I have none, so I’m sorry but it’s my art-work and I delight you again with another one, with same quality level 😉 Another resource was to directly use the light diffuser as a white background for some of the pictures, or to include the shape of the diffuser panel as a simulation of a window. Some of the pictures also contained this kind of “aura”, created when the light enters into the objective in a non-straight way (the only sepia picture in the set).
